The Eurovision Song Contest 2012 is the 57th annual Eurovision Song Contest. It is being held in Baku, Azerbaijan, following Azerbaijan's win in the 2011 Contest with Eldar & Nigar's song "Running Scared". The two semi-finals were scheduled to be held on 22 May and 24 May 2012, and the final on 26 May 2012. Ten countries from each semi-final will qualify for the final and will be joined by Azerbaijan, France, Germany, Italy, Spain and the United Kingdom. Forty-two countries have announced their participation in the contest. The venue for the 2012 Contest is the Baku Crystal Hall in the Azerbaijani capital. On 18 November 2011, it was announced that Joksimović will represent Serbia in the Eurovision Song Contest 2012. His song, Nije Ljubav Stvar, was presented to the public on March 10, 2012. The 2012 Eurovision entry was presented in a special show broadcast and Serbian and English versions were performed. A few days later, it was confirmed that Zeljko will sing the Serbian version of the song "Nije Ljubav Stvar" (Love Is Not an Object) in Baku.
The first semi-final event at the Eurovision Song Contest that was held on Tuesday was opened by Antonije Pusic, better known under his stage name Rambo Amadeus, who represented Montenegro at the music event with his song Euro Neuro. He failed to make it to the finals, which is a pity as everyone at the Serbian team supported him.

Serbia opened the second semi-final this evening, 24 May 2012 with Nije Ljubav Stvar sung by composer and lyricist Željko Joksimović. Singer Zeljko is a suitably proud representative too, looking straight down the lens of the camera with a look that says he has his country behind him and he’s very pleased to be there. Watching this, it’s terribly satisfying to see an orchestra on camera. He represented Serbia and Montenegro in the 2004 Eurovision Song Contest with the song "Lane moje", placing 2nd behind Ukrainian singer Ruslana.
Zeljko Joksimovic has qualified for the final stage of the 2012 Eurovision Song Contest! Twenty groups will compete in Saturday’s final. We hope this is a winning song of Eurovision! Good luck Zeljko!
